When to Flush Your Brake Fluid

Brake fluid is a product that’s used to help stop or slow down a vehicle. It’s important to keep your brake fluid in good condition so that it can do its job properly. Here are some tips on when you should flush your brake fluid:

When is brake fluid needed?

Brake fluid is needed when the brake pedal is pressed down. Brake fluid helps to stop the car.

When should brake fluid be replaced?

Brake fluid should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on the type of brake system.

How often should brake fluid be flushed?

Brake fluid should be flushed every 7,500 miles or every three years, whichever comes first.

What to do if brake fluid is not flushing properly

If your car doesn’t seem to be flushing the brake fluid properly, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the issue. Firstly, make sure that the brake fluid reservoir is full. If the reservoir is low, the fluid won’t have enough space to travel through the system and will not be able to reach all of the brake pads. Secondly, check to see if any of the brake lines are kinked or obstructed. If they are, the fluid may not be able to flow freely and may cause problems with braking. Finally, make sure that the brake fluid reservoir cap is securely fastened – if it isn’t, air can enter the system and create additional problems.
