The first thing you will need is a Phillips head screwdriver. This type of screwdriver has a blade that fits in the screw head.
Next, remove the cover that covers the motor on the pool cleaner. There are likely two screws at the back of the cover. Remove them and set them aside.
Once the cover is off, you will see the impeller on the pool cleaner wheel. It should be easily accessible by unscrewing it with a Phillips head screwdriver.
