Remove the Cover

The Graco car seat cover is a plastic piece that snaps into place over the regular seat belt to help keep your child safe in the car. The cover can be difficult to remove, so follow these instructions to get it off safely and easily:

1) Find the release button

The Graco car seat cover has a release button on the side. Press it firmly and the cover should pop off easily.

2) Remove the straps
If there are straps attached to the cover, make sure to unclip them before removing it. Then just pull it off of the seat.

3) Detach the fabric tab
If there’s a fabric tab attached at one end of the cover, detach it by tugging on either side of it. Then lift up on one corner of the cover and slide it off of the child’s chair.

Remove the Base

The Graco Car Seat Cover can be removed by following these simple steps:

1. Remove the lower anchors from the car seat base.
2. Pull up on the cover until it detaches from the base.
3. Reverse these steps to reattach the cover to the base.

Remove the Arms

There are a few different ways to remove the arms from a Graco car seat. The easiest way is probably to use the release buttons on either side of the seat. You can also use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screws that hold the arms in place, or pull them out straight with your hands.

If you don’t want to damage the seat, you can try using a tool like an armrest removal tool or a carabiner to unhook the arms from the base. Finally, you can remove the arms completely by pulling them off of the base.
