How To Attach Graco Car Seat To Stroller

There’s no doubt that having a child is one of the greatest and most joy-filled moments in someone’s life. However, that doesn’t mean it isn’t also one of the busiest times. Between work, errands, and taking care of your little one all at once, it can be tough to manage everything. That’s where baby carriers come in! One of the best things about using a carrier is that it can help you take care of everything else while you attend to your child. Plus, Graco car seats are some of the most comfortable and versatile carriers around. In this blog post, we will show you how to attach a Graco car seat to a stroller so you can go about your day with ease.

Get the Right Stroller

If you’re looking to buy a new stroller, be sure to get one that is compatible with your Graco car seat.

To attach your Graco car seat to a stroller, follow these steps:

1. Open the car seat and remove the infant insert.

2. On the stroller’s frame, locate the two seat belt webbing anchors.

3. Insert the infant insert into the car seat’s base. Make sure that the shoulder straps are positioned over your child’s shoulders and attached in front of their chest (not behind their back). If there is not enough room in the base, you can use additional safety pins or elastic bands to secure it in place.

4. Place the car seat on top of the frame so that the weight rests evenly on all four wheels. Fasten both of the webbing anchors around either side of the frame, making sure that they are tight enough so that they do not move but loose enough so that they can be easily released (if needed). Be sure to label each anchor with a piece of tape or a marker. DO NOT overtighten these anchors as this could cause injury to your child!

Attach the Graco Car Seat

If you’re using a Graco car seat and stroller, follow these simple steps:
1. Open the car seat’s canopy.
2. Remove the shoulder strap connectors from both the car seat and the stroller.
3. Thread one connector through each hole on the car seat and on to the corresponding connector on the stroller (figure A).
4. Close up the car seat’s canopy, making sure that the straps are evenly distributed (figure B).
5. Reattach the shoulder straps to either side of the car seat (figure C).
6. Close up the stroller’s canopy, making sure that all straps are evenly distributed (figure D).

Secure the Stroller

Secure the Graco Car Seat to the Stroller

Attach the vehicle belt and LATCH system to the car seat. If using a convertible car seat, attach the shoulder strap in front, below the lap belt.

If using a stroller without a built-in child safety seat, attach the safety belt by tightening it around your child’s waist and pulling it tight against the stroller. Place your child in the car seat and fit the stroller wheels under the car seat. Push down on each side of the car seat until it clicks into place. Ensure that both buckles are secure.
